Isa.64.6 For we have all become like one who is unclean [ceremonially, like a leper], and all our righteousness (our best deeds of rightness and justice) is like filthy rags or a polluted garment; we all fade like a leaf, and our iniquities, like the wind, take us away [far from God ‘s favor, hurrying us toward destruction]. So there’s a self righteousness and there’s a Faith Righteousness that has nothing to do with your efforts or actions.
Religión has thought that if your actions are bad you cannot claim to have a relationship with God. And if your actions are good, then you can claim to have a relationship with God.
But what you have to do to have access to what Jesus did for you is to have Faith in him, based on what Jesus did for you and not based on what you do .
This is nearly too good to be true news.
Because Righteousness is a gift and not something that you earn and it’s not based on your performance and you don’t have to earn it. Romans 5:17.
You don’t have to be good enough or even quite your sin. Romans 10:9-10,13;
Jesus bore and took All of the Judgment of our sins upon Himself
John 12:30-32..
You don’t have to quit your sin but to put faith in what He has done.
The only thing that makes you a candidate for salvation is your sin, because Jesus died for the ungodly and sinners,
Romans 5:8
and this is why we have to humble ourselves and stop relating with God based on our Goodness. 6:23. It’s a Gift to be Received.
Romans 11:6
It’s either you earn favour with God based on what Jesus do 100% or based on what you do 100%.
Everything in the natural world is made on performance but when it comes to the gospel God doesn’t give us what we deserve.
Satan will prey on your ignorance of righteousness.
Even when you fail. Hebrews 4:16; 10:10-14.
Let’s know that I don’t loose my righteousness even when I blow it or fall. I am still in right standing with God, and he sees me holy and righteous in my spirit.

Jesus + Notting= Everything.
The moment you try to add yourself effort you corrupt everything. Because they that are in the flesh cannot please God, so we must see our selves from the lense of God’s word, the Spirit.
Romans 8:1-3.
This is not saying that there’s no condemnation only when you’re doing or acting right.
However, there’s a condemnation that comes from people when we do wrong and don’t do right. But it’s not coming from God.
For example if you go and rob a bank and you’re caught you go to jail and the law will arrest you, but there will be zero condemnation from God.
The Law was weak because I was week as my flesh couldn’t keep the law.

The righteousness of the law is fulfilled in me but not necessarily in my physical body but in my spirit. Ephesians 1:13.
You are qualified because what Jesus did and not because of what you do. And that’s why God doesn’t love you in proportion to your performance.
And that’s why some people gets offended when we say we are righteous.
That’s why it’s the word that sets us free and build our lives.

And we are going to come to God using the name of Jesus knowing that He alone deserve All and he has given us the power of Athorny to use His name and we are in Him.
James 2:10; and you can Never do All. And even 99% will not be enough.
You’re not going to be perfect as long as you’re dwelliing in this flesh. Ephesians 4:24 made it clear that we are righteous in our spirits 1 John 4:17
