Once you are 25 to 30 years, there are sentences you should never use or statements you shouldn’t make again.

You’re 25. Or maybe 27. Or even 30. And you’re still explaining your setbacks with sentences like:

I was born in a poor family.

I didn’t go to a good school.

My parents couldn’t afford much.

Honestly, I used to think the world cares but, I learnt that no one cares about how you came to this world esp if you are not from the elites.

Nobody chose where they were born. But everybody gets to choose what they do with it.

I’ve seen people rise from the trenches of absolutely nothing to build lives that make you question excuses.

So why are you still holding onto yours?

At 25 to 30, you’re already becoming someone’s background.

Your choices, or lack of them, are shaping the life your children will inherit.

If you keep making excuses, they’ll likely inherit the same mindset.

They’ll grow up saying:
It’s because my dad didn’t…
It’s because my mom couldn’t….

Do you really want to pass down that cycle?
Do you want to watch the same excuses you use today become their reality tomorrow?

What if, instead of saying “My parents couldn’t help me,”

You rather said “I will make a trust fund for my kids”

What if, instead of saying “I didn’t go to a good school,”

You said “I’ll outlearn and outwork everyone who did.”

Chief and Lolo, at these ages, you are your responsibility now.

The moment you take full responsibility for your life, everything changes. It might not be easy, but it’ll be yours. No excuses. No blaming. Just action.

If you keep repeating the same lines about your poor background, don’t expect to build a wealthy future.

Your children don’t deserve to inherit excuses.
They deserve a story of how you rose above every reason to fail.

The goal is to THRIVE.
