HAVE CERTAIN TRUSTED PERSONS IN CHURCH WHOSE VISIONS, REVELATIONS OR ADVICE YOU BELIEVE IN:

WHETHER BY THE VISIONS OF THE NIGHT OR BY THE AUDIBLE VOICE OF THE SPIRIT:

IT COULD BE YOUR WIFE, YOUR ELDERS, YOUR FELLOW PASTORS, YOUR MEMBERS OR A TRUSTED FRIEND THAT YOU KNOW ARE SPEAKING FROM THE SAME SOURCE WITH YOU:

IT DOESN’T REDUCE YOUR STATUS AS THE LEADER:

IT DOESN’T MEAN YOU ARE NOT WELL CONNECTED TO GOD:

IT ONLY MEANS YOU ARE RUNNING A NEW TESTAMENT PATTERN OF CHURCH:

REMEMBER THE SEVEN FOLLOWING SCENARIO:

1. It was the maid of King Namaan that told him not to walk away from the the instruction of Prophet Elisha. It was the same maid who told him of the Prophets ability to heal her master. It doesn’t remove anything from Namaan. It only remove his leprosy.
2. It was Philip who told Jesus that there was a lad here with five loaves and two fishes. It doesn’t reduce the prophetic grace on the life of Jesus. It only show team work.
3. It was Gehazi who told Elisha that the woman was in need of a child. It doesn’t make Gehazi the Senoir prophet over Elisha. It only shows they are working together.
4. It was Prophet Agabus who God used to speak to all mighty Apostle Paul. It doesn’t make Apostle inferior to Prophet Agabus. It only shows that God can use anyone.
5. It was the Egyptian man that showed David his way to the recovery of everything the enemy took from him. It doesn’t mean David is no longer well connected to God. God can use anyone to reach you. Remember David can sing and hear God’s voice.
6. God was speaking directly to Samuel, without having to pass through Prophet Eli. Not because Eli is no longer connected. God can choose to speak through anyone. Eli still confirmed it, but God did not spoke through him to Samuel.
7. It was Jethro’s counsel that saved Moses from all forms of stress in ministry and marriage. It doesn’t mean Moses’s brain wasn’t working. God can pass through anyone.

JUST ENSURE THESE FOUR THINGS ARE GUIDING YOU:

1. These persons must be trusted in keeping secrets. Not loquacious in nature.
2. Their spirituality must not be in doubt. To be sure of their source.
3. Your spirit must bear witness within you that what they are saying is of God. You just have a witness that it is correct. Sometimes it comes as confirmation of what you already know.
4. Where you don run with it, it must not be an issue. Any one who believes you must accept whatever you are told, is speaking from a wrong source. Even God said test all spirit. Not accept all spirit.
