OVERCOMING BLACKMAILS AND SCANDALS.

I figured out that you don’t have to do something terrible before you can be blackmailed.

For blackmail to work there must be something you are PROTECTING!!

It could be an information, it could be a news, it could even be a good thing going on in your life that you don’t want people to know, as long as you are protecting it, it can be used as a tool for blackmail or scandal.

One time, some rebels in my local church told one of the members who really loved me that he needed to know my age, they said he respected me a lot but didn’t know I was so young and that he was way older than I was. so they told him my age and also told him I finished school with a third class etc

I later figured they felt I didn’t want people to know my age and they felt they could use to lead others away from me since it was a secret I kept.

Since I knew that, I say my age publicly often, so no one coming around me will be surprised I am 34 or i graduated with a third class, when they submit to my authority, I don’t want anyone under any delusion of grandeur when they come around me.

Anything could be used to scandalize a person as long as your enemies feel you protect that information and you don’t want anyone to know it!

Some of us are easily blackmailed because we have such big egos!

Our reputation has become our idol, and people will make us pay money to keep that idol!

Listen , if you did something wrong, say it publicly, especially if you know it can be used against you by your enemies or they intend to do so publicly!

While it is foolish to share your nude pictures with anyone but if they try to blackmail you with it, there are legal steps to take and let’s assume they post the pictures anyways, you won’t be the first person to have their nude pictures on the internet. I have once been so foolish to do same; sharing my nudes with another, its stupid, reckless but it’s life.

I know it is not as easy as I am saying it because we all fear shame but I have seen shame very well in my life, I don’t think I fear shame anymore!

Nah! All those reputation madness like I created the world, I don’t feel it! If I ever did a wrong thing, I won’t condemn myself, after all Jesus died for me, I am
worth it!

I am the kind of person who will rather do a press conference and tell my story myself, all the little dirty secrets than allow someone hold me bound to it.

What’s worse? Some of you even contemplate suicide just so you can avoid shame!

Why?

Are you so important?

Does life really revolve around you?

You will rather die than face shame?

The whole world doesn’t know you please, don’t exaggerate your existence!

The whole world doesn’t even know Jesus!

If your news go viral, it only went viral in a population, the worst that will happen is you will relocate to another place on this earth where those viral news won’t do you much harm!

Do you intend to live ?

Or do you intend to allow idiots kill you with your own hands?

Evil people who sin just like you but intend to use your own sin to crucify you, meanwhile they do worse?

If they have pictures of you sleeping with somebody, they had Tiwa Savage’s video, she is still alive, they released the videos.

Don’t cower to those people!

They will use your ego against you!

They will your pride against you!

They will use your shame against you!

You won’t be the first person to have sex outside wedlock o.

You won’t be the first person to have a child outside wedlock o.

You won’t be the first person to abort a baby o.

Even if they have a video of you with same sex, you won’t be the first person to try out their sexuality in those manners o!

And please, don’t come to my comment to say I am encouraging sin, let your head be very correct, I am not in the mood for foolishness this morning.

You won’t be the first pastor to impregnate a member o.

You won’t be the first pastor to be caught in bed with a member.

As terrible as these things are, as wrong as they are, as ungodly as they are, you can actually do a press conference and tell the world what you did, apologize, repent and do better, they will roast you online, they will roast your church, you will lose members, they will curse and swear, they will do their best, another story will soon cover your story, you will move on and may even become an inspiration for anyone who falls into sin like you did but don’t ever entertain the notion of killing yourself to cover your shame, are you mad?!

Don’t let me catch you please!

Warn yourself and let your head be correct!

If you need somebody to talk to, talk to me, I understand imperfections well and there is nothing you have done that we have not heard before!

Na street we Dey!

You owe God, yourself and others to repent from all your sins, but you don’t owe anyone the satisfaction of taking your life!

Don’t give them the satisfaction!!
